How do I crop an image online?▾
Upload an image, choose aspect ratio, move the crop frame, and click Crop current file. After processing, download the result.
Are images uploaded to the server?▾
No. Images are read and cropped locally in your browser through the Canvas API.
Which aspect ratios are supported?▾
Free frame, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, 9:16, and presets for avatars, product cards, and covers.
How is crop different from resize?▾
Crop removes areas outside the frame. Resize changes the size of the entire image without removing edges.
Can I make a square avatar?▾
Yes. Choose 1:1 aspect ratio or the Avatar 512×512 preset, adjust the frame, and download the result.
Can I crop to 16:9?▾
Yes. Choose 16:9 aspect ratio or the 16:9 Cover preset and adjust the crop area.
Is transparency preserved?▾
PNG and WebP can preserve transparency. JPEG does not support transparency, so transparent areas are replaced with the chosen background.
Are EXIF and metadata preserved?▾
When processing through the Canvas API, metadata and EXIF are usually not preserved. Verify separately if they matter.
Can I crop several images?▾
Yes. Upload several files. Editing and crop frame are configured for the active file; switch via the thumbnail strip. Crop area is set separately for each file.
Why does the large upload area disappear after upload?▾
After the first upload, focus moves to the crop editor for the active image. Add files with the Add button in the thumbnail strip.
How do I switch between files?▾
Click the thumbnail of the file you need in the horizontal strip above the editor. The active file is highlighted with a border.
Why are not all files cropped at once?▾
Cropping requires an individual crop area for each image. One file opens in the editor while others wait in the queue. Applying one frame to all may give wrong results for different compositions.
Do I need to register?▾
No. The tool works immediately and does not require registration.
